Doug Rush
Writer Doug Rush is a 2009 graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelors in Journalism. He got his start in the field back in 2004 working for the Asbury Park Press in Neptune, NJ writing about high school sports and covered such things like the Harlem Globetrotters. After graduating college, he started writing for Bleacher Report and became a Featured Columnist for the Giants and Yankees, with stories appearing on CBS Sports, the Los Angeles Times and FX Sports. Now a part of Giants 101, he will look to continue bringing hard-hitting and exclusive coverage of Big Blue to the fans all over.
Jen Tumulak
Jen Polashock
Writer Jen Tumulak has been a passionate Giants fan since those early years of Scott Brunner vs. Phil Simms. Her reward: being able to witness all four Lombardi's being hoisted and attending two ticker-tape parades. Attending Giants Training Camp since 2003 led Jen to eventually start writing up her observations for fellow fans on several blogs, message boards and Giants websites - complete with pictures and interactive stories about players and coaches. As administrator on several sites, she also wrote point-of-view editorials throughout the seasons. As Jen's Giant passion only intensifies with each season, it was only fitting that she broadened her writing horizons to include Giants 101.
Billy Javed
Writer Billy Javed is a 2012 graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor’s in English. He is an aspiring filmmaker who aims to bring a creative flair to everything he writes. Though relatively new to the field of sports writing he is no novice when it comes to talking Giants football and Knicks basketball. He compensates for his lack of experience with his passion and knowledge as a creative writer whose career began at Binghamton University where he contributed numerous pieces for the school newspaper, BU Pipe Dream. He wrote and directed two school plays while also winning first place in the Andrew Bergman Creative Writing competition for his screenplay “The Bridge.” His first love however has always been the New York Giants. His obsessive desire to gather as much Giants information as possible led him to discover Giants 101 during its infancy at MVN and he has grown with the site ever since. Now as a writer, Billy aims provide other fans with the same entertainment and Giants knowledge he received as a reader.
Dan Graham
Daniel Graham
Intern Daniel Graham has spent his life dedicating himself to sports. After graduating from Wood-Ridge High School in 2011, Daniel continued to contribute to his alma mater by covering their sports programs. He says the highlight of his time at Wood-Ridge High was serving as the football team’s public address announcer. After high school Daniel pursued an Associates Degree in Communications at Bergen Community College and is currently obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field at Centenary College of New Jersey in Hackettstown. Upon arriving at Centenary in the fall of 2013 Daniel began to cover the sports programs over there as well and within one year became the sports writer for the campus newspaper “The Quill”, a work study in the sports information department, and the producer of the campus radio station’s weekly sports show “The Sports Buzz.” Dan is beginning his first year at Giants 101 for the 2014 season and for a guy who grew up a Giants fan living right down the road from MetLife Stadium, this could not have worked out better for someone like him.
Tyler Henry
Intern Tyler is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University and most recently the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. He has been a Giants fan for as long as he can remember. Growing up in New Jersey his whole life and conveniently close to Giants Stadium attending Giants games have become a hobby. Tyler has also attended both of the recent Super Bowl Parades. He also works at the MLB Network where he is hoping to get his career started working in radio and television broadcasting. Tyler can also be heard on Boost Radio Network where he hosts a sports talk show. He began writing for Pure Sports New York covering both the Giants and Knicks. Tyler is excited to be with Giants101 where he feels he can excel covering the team he is so passionate about.
