While Miller was trying to get the suspension reduced to four games, the NFL was looking for a much longer ban, but both sides agreed to the six game suspension.

The suspension for Miller will officially begin on August 30, which is the day after the Broncos final preseason game of the summer and he won't be eligible to return to the team when they play the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7 on October 20. The suspension for Miller means that he will not be playing in Week 2 when they head to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Giants in the third meeting of the highly anticipated "Manning Bowl."

Miller's suspension is a crushing blow to the Broncos defense early on, as he is by far their best pass rusher and most exciting player on the unit. Miller had 18.5 sacks and an interception in all 16 games for Denver last season.

The week 2 game for the Giants is looked upon as a game that the Giants could knock off Denver in, as Eli Manning has never defeated his older brother Peyton Manning as a professional; as he is 0-2 in regular season meetings from when Peyton was a member of the Indianapolis Colts.

The last time the Giants played the Broncos in the regular season was four years ago on Thanksgiving night, an ugly night for the Giants and one most fans would want to forget in a 26-6 loss at Invesco Field.

The last meeting between the Giants and Broncos in New Jersey dates back to the 2005 regular season; a game seen as one of the most memorable ones in Manning's career, as he took the Giants who were trailing 23-10 in the fourth quarter and threw the game-winning two-yard touchdown pass to Amani Toomer that gave the Giants a 24-23 win back on October 23.

The dude got caught trying to rig his samples. Which means he was/is juicing. The NFL is never going to root out all the PEDs. I honestly don’t know what they should do.

anybody hear if the injury to Murphy is serious?

Don’t believe it was. Will have a ton of updates on injured players later today when Coughlin addresses media for the final time (last day of camp already?!).
