On Tuesday, amidst a flurry of rumors and free agent signings, the New York Giants made an addition to their coaching staff, hiring former Albany Great Dane quarterback and Princeton assistant, Ryan Roeder, to be their offensive assistant.

Roeder spent three season as an assistant at Princeton after a year coaching the wide receivers at Rhode Island. He also spent three seasons at Temple University coaching wide receivers, tight ends and acting as an offensive line coach.
In addition to his time at the aforementioned schools, Roeder spent 2006 coaching Albany wide receivers and 2005 coaching their running backs. In 2004, he was with Holy Cross as an assistant offensive line coach.
The position of offensive assistant became available after the Giants promoted Lunda Wells to assistant offensive line coach in late January.

Bedtime story for Dom Hixon and all borderline players …
There once was a boy named Dave. His dream was to play professional football. He wasn’t all that athletic, but he tried very hard. However no matter how hard he worked it didn’t seem to matter. After a few years it looked like his dream was over. Then … out of nowhere … he lands a job with the New York Giants. Amazingly he fits in !!! For once in his life the coaches and his teammates love him. Two Superbowls later it’s all good. But an evil witch disguised as an agent cast a spell on young Dave. He sold his #71 Giants jersey for an extra few dollars … and moved to Oakland. They didn’t like him nearly as much. And after one year they kicked him to the curb. Now he’s looking for work, and his prospects are not promising.
I’d be curious to know how much he made last year.
With the three youngin’s competing, and a deep DL draft, it’s not looking like old tribal tatts is making a return…
No. Once he moved out Mom and Dad rented his room.
Hey Krow – your boy Groves just got signed by the Browns
Saw that. I always thought he could make it as a hybrid DE/rush LB. Hopefully he salvages my reputation !!!
