The incredible season New York Giants rookie running back David Wilson had continued to receive its due recognition on Saturday as the NFL announced first and second-team AP All Pros. Wilson, who set a franchise record with 1,533 kick return yards, was named a second-team All Pro at kick returner. Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones was named first-team All Pro.
Jones led the way with an incredible 37 1/2 votes, while Wilson tallied three. Buffalo Bills' Leodis McKelvin (2 1/2), Seattle Seahawks' Leon Washington (2), Tennessee Titans' (and former Giant) Darius Reynaud (2), Green Bay Packers' Randall Cobb (1), Miami Dolphins' Marcus Thigpen (1) and Cleveland Browns' Josh Cribbs (1) all also received votes.
Wilson was the only Giants played named to either the first-team or second-team, with guard Chris Snee (2) and safety Stevie Brown (6) being his only teammates to receive any votes.
In addition to franchise record 1,533 kickoff return yards, Wilson also set a franchise rookie record with 1,925 all-purpose yards and the franchise's single-game record with 327 all-purpose yards. He was also named the Pro Football Weekly All-Rookie Team and Pro Football Focus All-NFC East Team.
