Player/Coach Quotes:

Chris Snee:

“I still believe we’re a good football team," said Snee. “Listen, I know everyone has the right to think that we’re not, based on the last two games, I understand that, but we’re going to try to end this thing on a good note and hopefully things will work in our favor."

Victor Cruz:

"It's a brand new season," said Cruz. "I think if we're able to get in, we'll be dangerous."

Zak DeOssie:

"We all want to win every single game. Two Super Bowls in five years is pretty damn good, but you wish you were a contender every single year. And it is a disappointment when we’re up so high one season, and we’re struggling to make the playoffs in the next. Yes, other teams would like to have that sort of problem, but it’s not ideal for us, and we don’t like it. We don’t like it," DeOssie said.

Tom Coughlin:

"Pride, honor, dignity,” Coughlin said. “Play the game that we are capable of playing, finish the season with a game we can all be proud of.”

New York Giants – Ramses Barden, Jayron Hosley, Tyler Sash, Ryan Torain, Adewale Ojomo, Adrien Robinson and Chris Canty.

It is ridiculously windy outside today.

Anyway, either the Giants will come out extremely flat today or they will put together an inspired effort in a blowout win in their last game of the season. I don’t think there will be any in between.

  2. GmenMania says:

Prince is playing!? Yes! That’s huge. He’s probably gonna be very limited, but anything out of him will be a plus. It’s better than Tryon starting.

I think you’re right… Either Vick is going to come out running around like crazy and having his way OR the Giants are going to get out to a two or three score lead and never look back.

      Giants inactives

Tyler Sash, Adrien Robinson, Ryan Torrain, Ramses Barden, Jayron Holsley, Adewale Ojomo, Chris Canty.

Gotta give Prince a lot of credit. He has been one of the few consistent players on our team this season and now he is gutting it out for the last game of the year.

  3. Samardzija says:

Soooo Chicago, Dallas and Minnesota all needs to lose right?

  4. Valid says:

I actually expect big games out of Tuck and Osi today. They both know this could be their last games as Giants (especially Osi), and not only would they like to end their Giants careers on a positive note, but they’d like to set themselves up to get paid, as well.

  5. Krow says:

To be completely honest … don’t most of our seasons end up like this? Us scrounging for the last playoff spot … or trying to eek out the Division?

  6. GmenMania says:

It’s HUGE that Prince and KP are playing. This allows for us to devote more attention to Vick and McCoy (hopefully not with the stupid 4-4) than we previously would have been able to, as we have our top 2 players in the secondary playing.

  7. Valid says:

It’s also nice to know that we won’t be getting any offensive pass interference penalties on Ramses Barden to cost us another win against these dirtbags.

  8. turkish says:

Let’s GO G-MEN!!! Still a chance to make it to the dance!

    • Valid says:

And even if one of CHI, MIN, or DAL wins, let’s at least end our season by beating the piss out of these jackasses.

  9. GmenMania says:

I can’t see us losing 3 in a row. I think Vick playing is actually better for us. We have been pretty successful at stopping Vick in the past, and I think that won’t change today.

Giants 24 Eagles 21, on a vintage Eli 4th quarter comeback.

    • Valid says:

Yeah, and we all know how terrible the Giants are against backup QBs, so it might actually be a blessing that Foles is out today.

  10. turkish says:

Good to see Tuck the quitter OUT today. Let someone else show us what they can do.

Huge appreciation for what he has done for this team on and off of the field, but he’s lost the passion and it’s obvious. Wish him all the best.
