The New York Giants made the release of cornerback Terrence Frederick official on Tuesday, and announced that they have re-signed offensive lineman Selvish Capers to the 53-man roster.
Frederick was signed off of the Practice Squad on Saturday at the expense of Capers, and made his NFL debut on Special Teams during a 34-0 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Capers, meanwhile, has now taken over the 2011 role of quarterback Ryan Perrilloux. He has been sign and released from the Practice Squad numerous times, and has now been released and re-signed to the 53-man roster three other times.

Last thread jb322 pointed out that both QBs and WRs have different position coaches. I think this is a very relevant point, and may explain … at least in part … why both units are struggling. This may change after the season.
