Although Hurricane Sandy struck the New York/ New Jersey Metropolitan area weeks ago, there are still thousands without homes, power, and the basic necessities needed to live a healthy everyday life. Help is still needed from those fortunate enough to be in a situation to do so. That's why ProSportsNet is hosting a GIANT event to help those still being effected by Hurricane Sandy.
Come out to Dave & Busters inside the Palisades Mall on Sunday, November 18th to meet current New York Giants players Domenik Hixon, David Wilson, Steve Weatherford, Chase Blackburn, Andre Brown, Stevie Brown and David Carr. Giants 101 will also be in attendance.
Each hour, attendees will have the chance to win a variety of prizes including Giants tickets, autographed Giants memorabilia along with Dave & Busters game cards. The ultimate Grand Prize, a one-on-one basketball game with starting Giants middle linebacker Chase Blackburn will also be raffled off. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to help those in need.
For further information regarding pricing, VIP passes, and to purchase autograph tickets, head over to ProSportsNet.tv, email info@prosportsnet.tv, or call 516-366-0986. You can also purchase autograph tickets at the door for any and all players in attendance.
So come out, meet some of your favorite Giants players, have a good time and help support those who desperately need it. Your donations will go to help those who's lives have been turned upside down by one of the worse weather events in US history.

Makes me wish I was closer. Have fun folks.
Figured you’d be busy all weekend with the Twilight release:-)
So sad to see it end. *sniffles*
Damn this place is as empty as the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Trophy case! Is it always like this on a Saturday?
It’s been bad since Sandy came through.
Its the first Saturday I havent had any sports stuff going on for my kids and I check in between knocking out my honey do list and nothing,,
Just bad timing. Thanksgiving travels, bye week, post-Hurricane, no news, most writers are busy. Bad, bad combo. Haha
Its just as much to do with last weeks horror show too .
In a solid win the number of posters who wax rhapsodic far exceeds the number
of posters who will bother to verbalize about a game like last week
. But I will also say that the widespread effect of the hurricane is still with us and for many it will be a life changing event for months even years .
Ive decided to get away from the effects of the storm even for one night . Im going to Newark . hows that for reverse psychology ?
