Player/Coach Quotes:
Osi Umenyiora:

Corey Webster:
“I’m expecting to have a few more balls coming to me,” Webster said. “It’s a great opportunity, and hopefully I can make the best of my opportunities.”
Andre Brown:
"Why settle for being average, right? If you’re gonna do something, do it to the max," Brown said.
Andy Reid:
“[Victor Cruz is] one of the best slot players in the league and so you honor that and you get yourself ready to play against that," Reid said.

Go Giants!
SO pumped for this game! 24-17 Giants.
GO GMEN!!!
Valid- I hope I’m very wrong about tonight’s game my friend. I hope the Giants absolutely murder the Eagles tonight on National television. I just have a bad feeling about this game and that only happens once or twice a year at most. Last time I had this feeling was the MNF game vs the Saints last year. I’m not saying the Giants will lose, I’m just saying it os going to be a very tough game to win. The Eagles alwys play above their level vs us, we always play below ours vs them. Because I am the eternal optimist I’ll go on record with this prediction
Giants 19
Eagles 17
4 Tynes FG’s and one TD
Well no one has had a bigger hex on us than these guys. And a more hate-able bunch doesn’t exist in the NFL. Makes it even tougher that they’re the worst sort of dirtbags.
I understand.
I’m definitely a bit more antsy for this game now that Nicks is out, but I am still confident that the Giants have enough to get it done.
I think we will see an extraordinary pass rush tonight. Not the kind where we just just flush Vick out of the pocket (where he actually becomes more of a playmaker), but the kind where we see him on his butt all night. Given the spotty healthy of Philly’s offensive line, I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
Also, for some odd reason, I am feeling big games from Hixon and Bradshaw tonight. In Hixon’s case, I think the Eagles will be paying so much attention to Cruz and, thanks to the Carolina game, be so wary of Barden that they might lose sight of Hix. I’m not saying he’ll get 100 yards or anything, but I could see a 5-catch, 70-yard performance with a TD from him tonight.
I also think Bradshaw is going to be playing with a chip on his shoulder. I’m sure he’s heard all of the rumblings about Brown being the better back, and, quite frankly, Brown HAS been better thus far. But Ahmad is not bereft of talent, and I think we’ll see a big game out of him on a big stage. I could be wrong, but I do seem to remember him having a big game in Philadelphia last year. I think he repeats it.
My prediction?
Giants 30
Eagles 17
The game might be close early, but Eli pulls us away late in the third quarter.
I’ll also add in that I think we’ll see Webster in prime form tonight, broken hand or not.
Nicks isnt even my big concern. Hosley, Rolle and Coe are what have me sweating a bit. The front line needs to step up BIG and take some of the pressure off the secondary. We need to keep Vick running that turn over machine and not make him look like the Pro Bowler hes not.
* I know Rolle and Coe are playing, but their injuries dont make it any more comforting.
Add Arizona as another team with awful pass protection.
Two more Miami sacks on consecutive plays.
Ugh. A little over an hour until gametime. This is BY FAR the worst part.
As bad as rooting for Greg Schiano against the Skins.
I’m rooting for Drew Brees. How do you think I feel?
Man, can’t wait. Lots of screwy stuff today as we see most teams that are supposed to be good look not so great.
One bad thing is I predict the jets will make a run at both Marc Ross and Osi.
Green Bay blatantly screwed by regular officials. Comical. Clear fumble called down but contact.
Yeah, that was one of many bad calls that have gone against GB today. I feel bad for them.
More sacks in this game. As a pure guess I gotta think this might be close to a record amount of sacks in any one week across the league.
The Packers are getting “Gianted” by these zebras. I’m laughing.
