I think Thomas, dependent upon changes to our roster between now and then, is almost a lock on this team. Great ST player that could wind up as our #3 WR too.

Barden is in trouble. The guy offers nothing on ST. That means he has to unquestionably win the #3 or #4 WR spot to make the roster. I think he’s run out of time to hang around the bottom of the depth chart inactive most weeks. It’s too bad. At least from the outside, it appears his biggest problem is a lackadaisical attitude.

I get the same vibe, but to be fair I can’t point to anything specific. Maybe it’s just myth. No matter though … he simply hasn’t shown anything after 3 years. 15 catches career … and a good number in garbage time. Lots of injuries. Nothing in the Red Zone … which was supposed to be his forte’. I mean all this ‘Renaissance man’ stuff is very cool … but the lynchpin is football. You’ve got to cover that base first BEFORE you start your campaign to become a philosopher king … or plod after fashion models.
