Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys, the nation witnessed one of the truly dominant games by any defender in the NFL in 2011 by New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.
Pierre Paul recorded 8 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
The forced fumble resulted in a field goal, and one sack was a safety. “JPP” also blocked a potential game tying field goal.
All in all, Jason Pierre-Paul provided about an eight point swing in the ball game.
This was enough to earn him defensive player of the week in the NFC. He could be up for special teams player of the week as well.
