KD,
LOL
I have no doubt that he likes them. I’m just sayin’ that he’s not gonna waddle his **** into his local Target to buy them and cook them himself. Takes too long. He’ll just get on Grub Taxi and order an entire cow from his local steak house.
Actually, Buddy Ryan owns a horse and cattle farm. When Rex visits, he probably leaves dead carcasses around like the Wolfman went on a rampage the night before…

OL Dennis Landolt was waived. #nyg
Poor Segrena, her post only lasted one hour…
Sanjaya just can’t catch a break.
I’ll say it again… if Gramps McSenile cuts Cruz! then I want him dead.
I agree.
Cruz! better make it.

Well, frankly, I don’t know what to make of the trade, but I think it’s entirely possible that norm’s take is correct: the Vikes were looking to get rid of Rosenfels (apparently their genius coach…no not Favre, the other one) didn’t want him on the roster and Reese made them throw in Reynaud to address the incredibly glaring need that we all wondered why he hadn’t addressed in the draft.
Whatever the reasons, I like getting a legitimate returner, and if the cost of that is Rhett Bomar then so be it. I don’t want to lose Bomar, but if I have to choose between a #2 quarterback-in-development who might be great bait for a #2 pick in a few years versus a legit return man who can help this team win championships in the years that Bomar would have been maturing, well that isn’t a tough choice. I would now send Bomar to the Practice Team and figure that by now no team will want a young guy as their backup quarterback this late in the preseason. If he gets taken, so be it. I’d rather not carry three quarterbacks because that will cost us a last roster spot where we would be letting go of real talent. But I suspect that the Giants will now start with three QBs because Rosenfels doesn’t know the playbook. That’s bad news for a number of guys: Cruz! (especially with Reynaud now in the house); Hagan (don’t assume he couldn’t be cut); Blackburn; Wilkinson; Kehl; Gartrell Johnson; Andre Brown; DJ Ware; Cofield; Bernard; and Alford. They should all be holding their breaths. If there’s any justice in the world Tollefson should already be packed.
Me? I’d IR Brown (put him on ice for another year and give him a chance to get to 100%, which he doesn’t look like he reached yet). I’d dump Blackburn. I’d send Bomar to the Practice Team. I’d try to trade Ware (knowing I’d be lucky to get anything, but would pitch that if I can’t trade him I’m keeping him and dumping either Johnson or Brown…maybe a GM would bite).
I’d keep Gartrell Johnson, Wilkinson and Kehl. I’d keep Bernard and Cofield. But I’m not predicting anything. This is going to be an interesting day.
I see that they’ve decided to show footage of Rex Ryan shirtless in a pool during the season finale of Hard Knocks next week. Makes you wonder–why the f*** do the Jets hate their fans?
Wilkinson! Coach wants to see you. Bring your playbook…
lol, I’d rather see Blackburn go.
Moss: “Damn, this security card don’t be opening the door. WTF? Hey, Eli, can you let me in?”
Eli: “Um, I…uh. Well. I think you should call Coach or Jerry. I’ll take your playbook and let you get it back in the locker room.
See, I imagine the scene slightly different:
Moss: “Gee golly, I see this door is locked tighter than the entrance to the Ark of the Covenant. Maybe I could just pray for it to open and God will help me! After all, it says in Psalms…”
Kehl: “Actually, God doesn’t necessarily have to listen to you. Only if you’re one of the lucky ones that God preordained to be saved by His grace.”
Rosenfels- “Hey guys. I’m new here. I brought bagels and lox. Can you open that door for me?”
Moss and Kehl: “No you smelly Jew!”
