Loading ...Ladies and Gentlemen, the time has arrived! NFL Draft day is finally upon us and in mere hours, 32 NFL franchises will hit the books and make every possible attempt to improve their teams by drafting the players of tomorrow.
Who will come out on top? What story-lines will develop and most importantly of all, who with the New York Giants select in the first round?

There will undoubtedly be a lot of rumors floating around all afternoon and into the evening, so stick with Giants 101 as we try to sort them out for you. As always, we will be all over in an attempt to bring you every single piece of news (or rumor) we possibly can. And in our attempt to keep you as informed as possible, we’ve decided to once again return to Twitter for the NFL Draft. However, in addition to Twitter, we will also be offering updates via Facebook for a good part of the night.
But fear not! If you’re not a Twitter or Facebook fan, stay tuned to Giants 101 as SimonGC, Hazem Kiswani, Kyle Langan and Sean Carroll will be holding down the fort.
Now remember, the non-Giants thread is for any and all news leading up to the Giants first selection. Once that is made, Simon will update the page with Big Blue’s latest pick and from that point forward, all Giants-related conversation will happen on those topics (with every pick we will bring you a new thread), while all non-Giants related material will still continued to be discussed here.
Also, we expect extremely heavy traffic tonight, as we’ve experience every draft day, so if the site does go down momentarily, please do not freak out. It’s unlikely to happen, but in the event it does, give us 3-5 minutes to repair it. The more you hit F5, the longer it will take.

Um, did Keyshawn declare that Michael Crabtree and Jeremy Maclin had “successful” rookie seasons? By what measure? Where was the mention of Nicks and Harvin?
Crabtree was pretty darn successful once he got in. Maclin was spotty.
My favorite Keyshawn draft moment: Dwayne Jarrett is drafted by the Panthers, for whom Keyshawn plays. Keyshawn: “I can’t wait to work with him, teach him the position, and really help him grow as a player.”
Something like 2 days later Keyshawn is cut.
The best was the reaction of the other analysts who obviously felt awkward when the pick was made. Clearly Jarrett was Keyshawn’s replacement.
